    Why it ranks
Suction runs well above average and pulls embedded sand out of carpet, while the anti-tangle brush handles long hair. Very large piles of dust or hair can overwhelm it, though everyday cleaning holds up well.

    • Climbs over obstacles other robots route around
    • Generous supply of spare bags and mop pads
    • Runs quieter than most robot vacuums
    Common complaints

    Why it ranks
Hands-off upkeep leads: the dock washes and hot-air dries the mop pads, empties the bin and refills the robot's water, and the spinning pads lift sticky spills. The base station is heavy, so setup may need a second person.
    What people praise
    • Handles obstacle avoidance tests with ease
    • Robot and base feel solid and well built
    • Built-in voice commands start a clean
    Common complaints
    • Heavy base station is hard to lift

    Why it ranks
A square body pushes a wider brush into corners and along walls, and the dock self-empties and washes and dries the mop pads. Top suction mode can produce a high-pitched whine, and cluttered rooms with chairs may still need tidying first.
    What people praise
    • Quick, easy setup and app pairing
    • Spots small obstacles ahead of time
    • Solid build with an eye-catching design
    Common complaints

    Why it ranks
Mopping is the strength, lifting tough dried-on stains without leaving excess water, and the dock washes the pads with hot water. Carpet deep cleaning trails a cheaper sibling model, and occasional random errors can interrupt runs.

    • Side brush and mop reach right to the wall
    • Up and running in under 10 minutes
    • Dock drains well and stays clean
    Common complaints

The anti-tangle brush keeps long hair off the roller, and a swing-out mop pad cleans along moldings, though corners can be missed. Carpet detection is weak without an ultrasonic sensor, and the dock uses a lot of water.
    What people praise

How this list is ranked

Who is eligible
Every robot vacuum and vacuum-mop robot in our reviewed catalogue is included. Window-cleaning robots, mop-only robots and robot lawn mowers are left out, and so are second listings of the same robot (storefront and bundle listings). The list opens on current models, those released in the last 2½ years (since Apr 2024); choose Include older models under Models to list them too. A product without a release date on record is always listed.
How they are ordered
By default, products are ordered by Ranking Net Score: points from reviews and discussions plus points from votes on BettaScore. Ties go to the product with more sources. Filtering or sorting renumbers the results from No. 1. Products without scored evidence stay Unranked and are not numbered.
Where the evidence comes from
942 public review sources across the matching products. Select a review topic on any card to see the quotes behind its points.
When it changes
The product list and review scores change only when we publish a reviewed update. Signed-in visitors can vote on each review topic (open a topic on a card): every vote adds or takes 0.1 points from that topic and from the Ranking Net Score straight away, and the order follows on the next page load. Votes are stored apart from review evidence, so they carry over between updates. Review evidence is from October 7, 2026.
Who pays for it
Nobody. BettaScore does not accept payment for placement. Each card shows review points and topic-vote points separately, even though their sum sets the default order.

What to look for in a robot vacuum

Start with your floors and how hands-off you want it to be: hard floors and rugs call for different strengths, and a dock that empties the bin, washes and dries the mop and refills water saves most of the upkeep.

Then compare what the evidence says about pickup on carpets and pet hair, mopping results, obstacle avoidance and getting stuck, the app, and how reliable the robot and its dock stay over time.

Questions to take to every card on this page

  • Does it handle your floors, rugs and pet hair?
  • Do you need mopping, and does it lift or remove the mop on carpet?
  • How much upkeep does the dock take off your hands?
  • Does it avoid cables, socks and pet mess, and get under your furniture?

Frequently asked questions

What does this robot vacuum list cover?
All reviewed robot vacuums in our catalogue. Products with scored review evidence get a rank; the rest stay on the list, marked Unranked.
How is the default order calculated?
Ranking Net Score adds points from reviews and discussions to points from BettaScore votes, and each card shows both parts. A vote counts right away: it updates the card and can move the product in the list.
How do filters and sorting affect rank?
They apply to the whole list and renumber the results: scored matches start from No. 1, and products without scored review evidence stay Unranked. Filtering and sorting never change a product's review or vote points.
Why are some specifications missing?
BettaScore shows only the facts it has on record. An unknown value is not treated as No, and we never fill a missing specification or evidence section with a made-up claim.
