The replacement battery they provided was worse than the original. As I mentioned, it just died instead of slowly losing juice.
The replacement display was malfunctioning anyway because it tried to turn itself on at random times

They sent me a new battery to see if that would fix things. It didn't help, in fact it was way worse because instead of the battery degrading gradually over time, it just completely died and left me stranded miles from home.

Scooters don't do well in the rains, especially faster ones. They're built more for speed than IP ratings.

the button controller for the display is fried and will either not work at all or randomly activate and turn the lights on and off constantly during the ride, or even change my gear with no way to control it.

If I ever needed maintenance, it's been really easy to do it myself.
Now the V2 battery is bad and it only has 20 miles on it.
Varla has terrible customer service!
your range shouldn't actually be affected, you should be getting 20 miles at full speed and 30 miles going about 25mph.
That display is pretty bad, it also has an odometer resetting problem.

I got a Varla recently and it worked a few times but now it won't charge.

the throttle is smooth with no dead zone.

The build quality feels really solid too, there's almost no wiggle in the stem or anything
All my experiences with customer support have been excellent.
Acceleration on dual motor mode can feel a bit aggressive, especially from a dead stop.
the top speed of 43 mph when fully charged feels like a bit much for a scooter with this kind of frame and stability.

Typically tubeless tires very rarely get flats if at the correct pressure though. I haven't gotten a single flat on the Varla.
