    • Suspension keeps the ride smooth across surfaces
    • Feels solid, with no creaks or clunks

    Why it ranks
Air-filled tires and front suspension smooth out the ride, and it stays stable and gets up city hills on a single motor. The app can disconnect from the scooter at the start of a trip, and replacing a tire may mean sending it back to the maker.
    What people praise
    • Air-filled tires and front suspension smooth the ride
    • Folding mechanism is quick and snaps into place
    • Handles hills well despite a single motor

    Why it ranks
Dual motors hold 15–16 mph uphill, and at roughly 30 pounds with one-button folding it is easy to carry up stairs. Solid tires and no suspension make rough surfaces bumpy, and real-world range runs about 10–14 miles.
    What people praise
    • Dual motors hold 15–16 mph uphill
    • One-button fold, then easy to carry by the stem
    • Looks clean-cut and sleek
    Common complaints

    Why it ranks
A large cushioned seat and dual rear shocks give a moped-like ride on bumpy roads, and the twist throttle pulls up hills without strain. It lacks front suspension, so very rough surfaces are not its strength.
    What people praise
    • Solid frame with no rattles
    • Few parts to put together out of the box
    • Folds down without taking much space
    Common complaints

    Why it ranks
Range past 26 miles on one charge beats many single-motor commuters, and the suspension takes the edge off lumps and bumps on rough paths. That suspension can clunk and bang over rough ground, so the ride is comfortable rather than quiet.
    What people praise
    • Went past 26 miles on one charge
    • Strong brakes with effective regen
    • Locking stem clamps feel secure and solid

    What people praise
    • Runs smooth over everyday streets
    • Brakes work well
    • App shows useful ride information
    Common complaints
    • Keeps rolling until you squeeze the brake

    Why it ranks
Keeping pace with traffic up steep grades and staying stable near 50 mph are its strengths. It is very heavy to lift, the twist throttle can surge if twisted by accident, and a stem or front fork has snapped in a few cases.

    • Stem lock is solid, with no wiggle

In its most powerful mode, full throttle from a standstill can lift the front wheel, and with no suspension it is not meant for real off-roading.

How this list is ranked

Who is eligible
Every electric scooter in our reviewed catalogue is included, from light commuters to dual-motor performance models. Second listings of the same scooter are left out. The list opens on current models, those released in the last 2½ years (since Apr 2024); choose Include older models under Models to list them too. A product without a release date on record is always listed.
How they are ordered
By default, products are ordered by Ranking Net Score: points from reviews and discussions plus points from votes on BettaScore. Ties go to the product with more sources. Filtering or sorting renumbers the results from No. 1. Products without scored evidence stay Unranked and are not numbered.
Where the evidence comes from
615 public review sources across the matching products. Select a review topic on any card to see the quotes behind its points.
When it changes
The product list and review scores change only when we publish a reviewed update. Signed-in visitors can vote on each review topic (open a topic on a card): every vote adds or takes 0.1 points from that topic and from the Ranking Net Score straight away, and the order follows on the next page load. Votes are stored apart from review evidence, so they carry over between updates. Review evidence is from October 5, 2026.
Who pays for it
Nobody. BettaScore does not accept payment for placement. Each card shows review points and topic-vote points separately, even though their sum sets the default order.

What to look for in an electric scooter

Start with your trip: distance, hills, road surface, and whether you'll carry the scooter onto a train or up stairs. For daily commuting, weight and folding matter as much as top speed.

Then compare what the evidence says about real-world range, braking, comfort on rough roads and build quality, and check reliability and repairs.

Questions to take to every card on this page

  • Will the real-world range cover your round trip?
  • Can you carry and fold it where you need to?
  • Does it handle your hills and road surfaces comfortably?
  • How do the brakes, tires and frame hold up over time?

Frequently asked questions

What does this electric scooter list cover?
All reviewed electric scooters in our catalogue. Products with scored review evidence get a rank; the rest stay on the list, marked Unranked.
How is the default order calculated?
Ranking Net Score adds points from reviews and discussions to points from BettaScore votes, and each card shows both parts. A vote counts right away: it updates the card and can move the product in the list.
How do filters and sorting affect rank?
They apply to the whole list and renumber the results: scored matches start from No. 1, and products without scored review evidence stay Unranked. Filtering and sorting never change a product's review or vote points.
Why are some specifications missing?
BettaScore shows only the facts it has on record. An unknown value is not treated as No, and we never fill a missing specification or evidence section with a made-up claim.
