The Delta 3 uses a lithium iron phosphate battery. That's the chemistry, and that chemistry is known for being extremely durable and safe.

It's not all that unusual to see the main unit and the expansion battery show different percentage states of charge

Mine is nice and quiet when under light load, so it seems like they might have done at least one firmware fix at some point.

So, 500 W I think is a little bit low for a unit like this. I'd like to see 800 to 1,000.

  • Portability & Size+5 pts

It only weighs 23 and 1/2 pounds. So, that's kind of nice.

  • Build, Reliability & Support+5 pts

Overall, though, I would say that the build quality seems to be very good. I was impressed with it. Seems like a very solid unit.
