Hi, after doing a lot of research, I finally ordered a Dinamica Plus about a month ago. When it arrived, I set it up and started the initial water cycle, but the pump ran without any water entering the machine. It kept asking me to run the water cycle again, but the same issue occurred, and I couldn't progress past that step. I contacted DeLonghi support, and they said it needed to be sent in for servicing. After their analysis, they confirmed it wasn't user error. The retailer offered a refund or a replacement, and I chose the replacement. The new unit finally arrived just before Christmas, and guess what: it had the exact same problem! I was really excited about this machine after all my research and seeing positive feedback from others, but I've lost confidence in the brand's quality after this ordeal. So, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for an alternative? I'm currently looking at the Nivona NICR 820; people seem satisfied with it, but there are very few owners. My requirements are: max 800€ (I'm in Denmark), must make black coffee, cappuccino, and latte, preferably with a quiet grinder, a self-cleaning milk frother (and easy to clean), and be reliable. As far as the quality of the coffee and extraction of the espresso, it seems like the Dinamica Plus is much better from my research.
Both also seem really easy to clean/take apart etc
