Buying A Used Zortrax M300 Plus Worth It

  • Speed-1 pts

    And they are very slow.

  • Reliability-1 pts

the prints just fail with dramatic layer shifts.

  • Software & Connectivity-1 pts

The biggest issue with Zortrax is the crappy software and firmware nobody cares to fix or innovate.

In short - No. I've used M200plus and M300plus for many years now. Back then there wasn't much choice in the prosumer market. But now - get a Flashforge AD5M or AD5Mpro, or if your budget allows - get one of those Bambu machines. The biggest issue with Zortrax is the crappy software and firmware nobody cares to fix or innovate. And they are very slow. Mind - the new "speed mode" is a fake feature. It has no vibration compensation or anything - it just allows you to set a higher printing speed and the prints just fail with dramatic layer shifts.
