Wybot S2 Solar Vision Is It Garbage

As for cleaning, it does a great job.

I've had two now. The company has sent me replacements both times. I made them send the new one before I returned the bad one. None of the solar power banks fully charge. I live in Las Vegas—we have plenty of sun. It gets to about 85%. My guess is that it has bad battery cells. So I leave the power bank plugged in. It's still convenient because the robot returns to the power bank when it's done vacuuming—about 50% of the time. The other 50% it ends up at the bottom of the pool. I have a square pool with no obstacles—very simple and easy. But I've noticed that if the robot doesn't get a 100% charge, it won't find its way back, and also if it has anything below 20% and you send it out, it won't try to find home. It just keeps going in circles and stops in the pool. The app works sometimes. I usually have to be on Bluetooth and right next to the solar bank for it to work. The remote control doesn't work at all. The lag is so bad that it's useless. The rest of the app works in theory. The cleaning button works well, and sometimes it will work with the return home button, but about 50% of the time the button doesn't let you return home. The robot will get stuck, and if you try to use the app to start cleaning and then the home button on the actual unit to return home, it won't work. You have to use the same method to start and finish—either the app or the physical buttons. As for cleaning, it does a great job. It runs for a while, but I haven't tested it fully yet.
