Apparently the range is almost 100+ miles on a single charge, haven't verified that yet.
1st Ebike Segway Xyber 1800 Mi In
The bartenders at my favorite bar all commute by e-bike (Onyx RCRs, for anyone wondering), and that's how I first got introduced to e-biking. About a year and a half later, my dad also got bitten by the e-bike bug. He sent me a listing for the Segway Xyber, and a week later I was zipping around my neighborhood feeling like a kid again. TL;DR: I absolutely love the bike despite its flaws (like the app not being robust enough, some right-to-repair concerns, etc.). For context, my only experience on two-wheeled vehicles, aside from the occasional bicycle ride, was a brief minibike stint when I was 9 or 10. I dropped the Xyber the first time I tried to mount it, not expecting it to be heavier than me, lol. But by the end of the first month I got used to it and became incredibly confident riding it, confident enough to ride no-handed with cruise control on. By the end of the third month I had put a little over 1,000 miles on it. During that time, my longest trip (at around 110 lbs/~50 kg) was 70 miles total, and I got back to my place with a little under 40% battery, riding incredibly conservatively (eco mode, which doesn't affect speed but does affect acceleration). I've been able to do a little off-roading with it, but the stock tires and my own confidence don't lend much to that side of the Xyber experience. About a month ago I got into a fairly major accident with the bike going around 18 mph (according to the app; I got concussed and don't remember). The bike miraculously survived and I walked away with some fractures (no helmet). Feel free to ask any questions about my experience, whether specific to the Xyber or about e-biking as a beginner, but just be aware that I'm a novice when it comes to a lot of bicycle/e-bike jargon.

Brakes: 220 rotors on the front are tough to complain about.
I haven't properly tested range, but voltage dropped slowly even when I was pushing it in race mode in 20-degree weather.
Regen braking is very smooth and progressive.
you have to pay a subscription for smart features after the first year—boo.
Time will tell.
Assembly was simple—just attaching the handlebars, pedals, and some trim pieces.
I don't like that the bike rings super loud when I get a phone call.
Kinda Wanna Get A Segway Xyber Anyone Here Have
I want to get an Xyber because the range is really good
I've had zero problems with mine except for the stock brakes.
I've had zero problems with mine
I would never buy a bike or car that requires a subscription for any of its features.
