I'll add that I got similar results riding in traffic with moderate hills at about 260 lbs payload, I'm about a foot shorter though. Plus boost was off. This fixed my acceleration issues with the G2 for uphill starts. Did 10.2 miles round trip ending at 49% battery. I'm really excited about this upgrade.

you’ll get 25 real miles out of a charge but you’ll start to lose speed after about mile 15

The steering is a little sketchy compared to a bike, but only a little bit
It's so quiet, and so peaceful to ride
It's heavy but there's a lot of thought put into the design. Compact, easy to carry given the size.

I got a total of 22 miles before reaching 10%. Not great, but more than I need.
The cost and availability of repair parts are among the reasons I chose the Segway brand.

Battery life seems roughly the same as the G2 Max, maybe slightly weaker.
Hill climbs that the G2 did at 15 km/h, the G3 takes at 25 to 30 easily.
Compared to the G2 Max, the G3 feels more stable
After about a month of use I noticed a few small noises, mostly around the folding system cables.

Thanks for the review. I agree with your points. I wanted a scooter that didn’t weigh more than about 60 pounds yet still went about 30 mph and the G3 fits the bill perfectly! I sometimes need to bring mine up flights of stairs or in the car and coming from a scooter that weighs something like 90 pounds. The G3 is a lot more easy to deal with.
