Should I Return My Salsa Confluence And Get A
I've never ridden a mid drive bike but have heard they're much better for hills, and I encounter several on the paths I ride. I'm not sure if the reduced weight of the Confluence would help mitigate the lower torque and hub drive?
A friend of mine suggested the Salsa Confluence might be a better solution since it's almost 15 lbs lighter than the Wabash.

How’s the weight of the bike? I’m evaluating a few bikes and this is the heaviest I believe.
it would be best to buy a brand name bike that won’t be an issue to be serviced at the local bike shops.

the reason I'm interested in the Salsa is that it would come from a bike shop in BC versus ordering from a US company and not having any support if something goes wrong.
