RAY-BAN Meta (Gen 2)

the speakers sound the same to me when you're listening to audio.

The unboxing experience feels super premium.

you can see that the transitional lenses kick in. So, you can see there's like a slight dim to them as we're walking.

if someone is calling you on your phone, you can pick up an answer and hear the phone calls here without having to touch your phon

by default, your glasses have a setting unlocked that share any and all data from your Ray-Bans, including your camera, with none other than Meta.

I think Meta spent way too much time investing money into the physical glasses and getting these compact. And they didn't invest any money into making a good AI assistant.

I do not feel that at all. I wear reading glasses for computer and stuff anyway, so I haven't noticed a huge shift.

the battery life on these is supposed to be better than the previous gen.

The microphone did a good job of picking up my voice on the video and got some of the ambient noises around me.

The stability was decent, but I had to remind myself not to look around too fast because the video from that would be kind of jarring.

smoother stabilization

But with the Rayban Meta Gen 2, [music] things get even better. You've got up to 8 hours of mixed use, which covers a full creator's day from your morning coffee run to your golden hour shoot.

you can also pause your songs by tapping once and skip to the next one by tapping twice, or even go back completely by tapping on it three times

I can use them indoors and out.

Better battery life.

It's a very nice feeling case.

The Gen Twos have an 8 hour battery life, whereas the Gen 1's had a 4h hour battery life. So, there's a massive increase there on duration.
