Oozingmelting Layers On Raise3d Pro2
I'm looking for ideas on how to fix these ugly layers I'm seeing.
Oozingmelting Layers On Raise3d Pro2
Sounds like a cooling issue. Try printing the same object next to it and see if it improves the quality. Also make sure your fans are on 100% and the fan blades are not obstructed or full of dust
check the extruder gears, because I've had issues with the brass feeder wheel being worn down from printing carbon filament, causing slipping.
Heat Creep With Raise3d Pro2 Question
Does anyone out there have any experience dealing with heat creep issues specifically on the Raise3D Pro2 printer?
Has Anybody Tried The Hotend Fix For Raise3d Pro2
Hello everyone, so I'm dealing with the heat creep problem on my Raise3D Pro2. I've heard this is a common major issue, and somehow I managed to avoid the worst of it for many years. Unfortunately, lately I just can't seem to get past it anymore—nearly every print fails and it's always heat creep causing a jam. I know Slice Engineering released a Copperhead bimetal fix for this, which I tried to buy in the UK but just couldn't get my hands on. I actually got scammed by what I thought was a reputable site, so I'm trying to get a refund from them right now. While searching for a solution, I found that BondTech also released a hot end fix for the Pro2. This one seems to use a bimetal heat break but lets you keep using the original heating elements and sensors. Here's the link to it: https://www.bondtech.se/product/raise3d-pro2-hotend-fix-set/ Has anyone used this yet? Did it work? Any advice would be really appreciated because all my projects have come to a halt and I'm so frustrated with this mess.
The print starts okay, and I can see the extruder moving around and making patterns. During this, the printer makes a loud ratchety sound. Suddenly, the nozzle stops moving
Thinking Of Upgrading Raise3d Pro2 Recommendations
We are using a Raise3D Pro2 at work for random prototyping/production tooling and have been very happy with the printer (excluding the bed adhesion issues - solved with a magnetic plate and periodic thorough cleaning procedure). What is currently going on in the FDM / SLS world? Any breakthroughs just around the corner? Has anyone actually implemented non-planar slicing? What about real multiaxial printing? FDM material advances?
This seemed to help the bow print better, as you can see on the 3rd Benchy about the middle of the bow around the 130 setting is much cleaner.
Xycalibration Cube In Dual Extruder Raise3d Pro2
The precision at the bottom of the print is absolutely terrible and I can't figure out why.
Raise3d Pro2 Upgrade To Corexy
We added the Slice Engineering Copperhead hotends but still have problems with print quality
It's not fast, especially compared to a Bambu.
TPU is much softer than say PLA or ABS, it has a tendency to slip into the gears and never make it to the nozzle/hotend.
I ended up with a ton of clogs, which I could limit with the slicer, but I'd rather have better prints and more aggressive slicer settings.
