I honestly wish things had gone better, because aside from that motor problem the bike was great.
The exact same loose bearing noise is happening again at 13-15 MPH.
I've contacted Lectric again asking for a refund and return because I'm going to look at other brands since I don't want to wait over two weeks for another replacement part that they can't guarantee will solve the issue.
On pavement, the XP4 feels amazing. It's not as maneuverable as a mountain bike but holds its own. The fat tires keep things smooth, the suspension seat post prevents butt fatigue

My XP4 sounds EXACTLY like this (same model as yours). I've noticed it makes this sound when I hit about 15 mph and over.

I went with the XP4 because I like the look more and it offers longer range.
Velotric seems to have better overall quality, components, and design than Lectric.

given they advertise the XP4 750 as making uphill feel like downhill, it isn't.
You can hear and feel the motor tearing itself apart.
