First Thoughts On My New Gotrax Gx1
Brakes are strong but are mechanical cable operated (not hydraulic) disks, but the feel is good.
Impressed with the build quality. It's build like a tank, no rattles or loose parts, feels really solid.
I called Gotrax service before I bought it to test their responsiveness and while they were slow to answer the phone, when they did they were willing to assist and help with service or parts if I had needed.
I still can't trust the front caliper.
Creaking Inside Stem Of Gotrax Gx1
I'm getting a pretty loud creaking noise coming from around the center of the stem
First Impression On Gotrax Gx1
The GX1 is just a bit heavy but that's fine for me.
The build quality looks pretty sturdy and the design is superior.
mine are loud, I have to adjust them every time I ride or else they don't work, and they rub on the disk way too much!

Gotrax Gx1 Disc Brakes Squealing Hard
the mechanical disc brakes squeal really loudly when I press them past about 15%.
the mechanical disc brakes squeal really loudly
I have a Gotrax GX1 electric scooter, and it's a pretty good scooter aside from these terrible brakes!
They make so much noise
