There are some Wi-Fi routers that the Blink cameras and doorbells don't seem to like because they don't differentiate well enough between 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz channels. To make mine work, I set up a guest Wi-Fi that only broadcasts 2.4 GHz, and it's been flawless.

There was a support post that said if you have a space in your Wi-Fi name or password, or some more obscure special characters, it might not connect.

So I am able to get to the setup point where I connect it to Wi-Fi. It sends the Wi-Fi info, and then it errors out at “connecting to Blink servers.” Nothing I do works.
