very nice that you can recapture some of that energy while going down hills or braking.

you would never buy an e-bike that's not UL certified and doesn't have some sort of water resistance rating. This has both.

Aventon really stepped up the power here and you can really feel it.

The integrated lighting package adds visibility, though, it's worth noting the integrated turn signals are a bit on the smaller side on this model.

  • Comfort & Fit0 pts

A suspension seatpost goes a long way in soaking up minor bumps, and I really wish they included one here.

You can actually download this, and if you have an iPhone and an Apple Watch, you can use the Apple Watch app to lock your bike, turn your bike off, and also start a ride.

Trouble Installing Aventon Bike Lock Onto Pace 5

  • Assembly & Delivery-1 pts

Edit: a Redditor recommended that I look for the screws that came with it. I finally found them, and that solved my issue. Solved! Hey everyone, I'm trying to install the Aventon segmented lock on my Pace 5 REC. It comes with a plastic holster that needs to be mounted to the frame using either the two Velcro straps that come with it, or with two bolts (I assume? It came with no instructions). I'm pretty mechanically competent, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to mount this thing. If I try to use any of the existing hex bolts in either bottle cage mounting location, the bolts are too short to engage the screw threads on the frame. And if I try using the included Velcro straps, there's no way to thread the straps so that the hook side of the Velcro overlaps and engages with the soft side, because both the hook and soft parts are on the same side of the strap. Can anyone shed some light on what I'm missing here? It doesn't seem like installing this thing should be this unintuitive and frustrating.
