The Aqara U400 is a deadbolt-style smart lock that opens with your fingerprint, NFC, a keypad code, Apple Home Key, or a traditional key. It connects via Matter-over-Thread and runs about 8 months per charge on its detachable rechargeable battery.

    UWB unlocks just in time in most instances for me, but there are occasional times where my approach is shorter, such as going from the garage to the front door, where it takes longer and I'm standing there for about five seconds before it unlocks.
