From current evidence, the RayNeo X3 Pro is a better fit for early adopters who want standalone AR glasses that can run real apps and take photos without a phone. The tether-free design and Snapdragon AR1 chip let you sideload Instagram or Prime Video, and the 6,000-nit display is bright enough for outdoor use. However, the battery life is severely limited (around 30 minutes), the AI feels behind flagships, and the $1,300 price tag makes it a risky buy compared to alternatives.
