From current evidence, Play For Dream MR is a better fit for display and VR enthusiasts than for comfort-focused users. Its dual 8K Micro-OLED screens and excellent passthrough quality set a new bar for clarity, and it competes with the Apple Vision Pro at a fraction of the price. However, out-of-the-box comfort is poor, battery life from the built-in battery is limited to about an hour, and the software ecosystem still feels immature.
